• Position:- Information Security Specialist
• Location:- Windhoek, Namibia
• Salary:- 627 300.00 NAD
• Closing Date:- 18 September 2025

Requirements:-

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or related field, 3 years
• Total work experience required for this position, minimum of 7 years
• Experience in security monitoring, SIEM tools, audits, or compliance programs, 5 years
• Experience in IT security, infrastructure support, or risk management, 3 years
• Experience of security controls in AWS, Azure, GCP, and cloud-native security tooling, 2 years
• Experience in Internet service provider (ISP) operations, added advantage
• Security certifications (e.g., CompTIA CySA+ or CASP+, Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), added advantage
• Microsoft Azure Security Technologies, SC-400, added advantage
• Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator Associate or equivalent, added advantage
• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) added advantage
• Ability to interpret threat feeds, analyse logs, and recognise indicators of compromise (IOCs)
• Knowledge of RBAC, PAM, MFA, SSO, and user lifecycle management processes
• Integrity and diplomacy in handling highly confidential information
• Knowledge of Information Security Incidents Management and Incident response
• Excellent communications and Information Technology Security management and capacity
  planning
• Understanding of security frameworks and regulations (e.g. ISO 27001)
• knowledge of information security standards and principles
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be a Namibian citizen or have permanent residency
