• Position:- Senior IT Technician
• Location:- Windhoek, Namibia
• Salary:- 1,564.39 – 1756.56 NAD
• Closing Date:- 22 March 2025

Requirements:-

• Fundamental IT skills – hardware, operating systems, IT system architecture, IT infrastructure management systems, TCP/IP networking, IT security.
• At least 3 year experience in supporting IT user equipment and sofware – workstations and workstation software.
• Experience using and managing workstation management and antivirus software, filesharing/ collaboration, e-mail and directory services.
• Experience in installation and maintenance of IT infrastructure and equipment – cabling, racking
• Experience in purchasing of IT hardware and sofware.
• Knowledge on managing IT assets inventory.
• Fundamental knowledge of physical security principles.
• Experience managing and maintaining physical security systems (biometric access control, CCTV) preferred.
• Knowledge of IT management frameworks (eg. ITIL) preferred.
• Certifications on IT systems administration/support preferred.
• Enterprise employment background preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or similar.
• Good written and spoken English.
• A+, ITIL
• At least 3 years’ experience in IT Support.
• Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in IT support.
• Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Hard-working, competence in prioritizing and working with little supervision.
• Self-motivated and trustworthy – with a great attention to detail.
• Good judgement and conflict management ability.
• Assertive and proactive.
• Valid Police Clearance Certificate.
• Driver’s license – required.
